Muted Makeup

I love a good matte. What I love even more is an application using muted shades.

Here's the technique!

Again I like to keep the skin clean and simple. I am a huge fan of NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer and their Radiant Cream Concealer. Both are light with great coverage.

For contouring I used Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit and focused more on the highlighting than contouring. Make sure you sweep the highlight powder under the eyes all the way out to the temples; that's how I achieve that UBER brightness around my under-eye without any iridescenceAnd instead of using blush, I piled on the darker contouring shade on the apple of my cheeks.

For the eyes I went for contouring with grey tones on the purple side. I used Mally Beauty Eyelift Shadow Duo in Taupe. Start with the lighter shade all over the lid. Then, with the deeper shade crease up the eyes. Then, for the liner I used L'Oréal Paris Lineur Intense Brush Tip Liquid Eyeliner in blackI finished it up with Tarte's Lights, Camera, Flashes Statement Mascara for full lashes. For the brows I used Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade and cleaned up with their Pro Pencil in the Base 2 at the brow's arche again.

Conditioned first with Carmex Lip Balm and then patted on some of Giorgio Armani's Rouge D'Armani Sheer Lipstick in shade 503; it's a muted rose that feels smooth to the touch but looks matte. I love it!

Again keyword here is CLEAN. The style I gave myself was a quick an easy blow-out. I polished the ends of my hair with some Pureology's Precious Oil Versatile Caring Oil. I'm addicted to how it smooths out my hair cuticles, and the smell is just so pleasant.

Like I had said before - if you decide to try this out definitely tag me on Instagram (@jopingkeo) or Facebook (JOPING KEO). I would love to see how the look turned out for you.

Till then my friends...

Don't waste your pretty,
